A Letter from Our Director

Greetings from CCS-Squads Abroad!  As Director of High School Programs I’ve been working in the volunteer student travel field for the past 17 years.  As a former Peace Corps Volunteer, Spanish teacher, and father of teenage kids, I’m a passionate believer in the profound educational outcomes these programs provide.   I thoroughly enjoy the process of collaborating with teachers, parents, and students to make these experiences a reality.

CCS-Squads Abroad provides a perfect model for student groups with its educational focus areas, clearly defined service projects, people to people volunteering, engaging cultural exchange activities, private home-base lodging, and professional local staff.  Squads students perspective on the world through professionally guided ‘deep-dives’ into the culture they could not experience otherwise.

Considering an adult-led student volunteer travel program but just want to ask a few questions to get started?  Contact Erik at 1-914-632-0022   or email ewerner@ccs.ngo.

In service,

Erik Werner
